"Disappointing this college on enrolment make do not make entrance criteria allowances for a child who has recently lost a parent. Therefore they are not allowing equal learning opportunities. Disadvantaged covers many areas Derby college need to widen their access arrangements to allow for bereaved children. A very poor experience."

"Quick Fire Review for anyone who doesn't like reading: Unsafe, Incompetent, Boring, Uncaring and Spying. I could have written a longer review but it will take 20 years to read. A few extra points: -Multiple Knife Incidents -Mental Health Team Don't Help -Drug Presence -Terrible Lessons -Takes 10 Years for them To Reply -Administration Clearly Don't Care Unless It Involves The Loss Of Money -Score on Trust Pilot is 2.6 (Poor) -There are a lot more places that provide a better experience -You'll Learn more from a random Online Course -"Privacy? What's That?" Says Derby College Group -Some Teachers are really nice but that doesn't help when they aren't in a position of power I hope this helps you make up your mind about this terrible establishment."

"Dreadful support for disabled students. Ignore requests for support and state don’t have staff when ask for additional help under the equality act which isn’t based on staffing but equality. Wasted 3 yrs there and now having to do an access course at a different college. Very unprofessional comments re students in front of other students via senior management. Quite a few staff with understanding disabilities or LGBQT . Needs new management"

"The worst food on offer, for the most extortionate prices, have no regard for the student they should be appealing to. £0.95 for a can of coke, the bunch of cronies will take your money left right and center. The services are poor to say the least with only one free water fountain on the campus which hardly ever works. This facility compaired to the roundhouse are dire."

"Three stars for the maths only. If I could I would give 100 stars for the maths and -100 for the English! Currently doing retaking my GCSE maths. Teacher is absolutely amazing! Explains well and is very understanding. I'm loving maths now! Judging by how it's going I will definitely get at least a B. However, started English level 2, as there were no places left on GCSE's. Worst decision of my life! Teacher was absent for almost 2 months. While she was absent we had two amazing ones instead of her. However, once she's back. Guys do this at home do that. Where is in class learning? No wait, there was. Slang! I didn't know it was in syllabus. Apparently, "learners of other languages are bad at English grammar. However, Brits don't need to learn it as they were born here." Wow , what a statement! So professional! Also, I'm dyslexic and the teacher 'didn't had training to support' me. That was her response. All I asked was coloured paper and extra time in class. She never allowed me to have extra time. Thank you F. Feels like I was doing ESOL. God knows what level. As it was mixed class. It definitely wasn't English level 2. Never again! Next year somewhere else 100%."
