"A wonderful place to stay! The cottage is well equipped and finished to a very high standard.The location is in a beautiful small village with stunning walks right from the cottage door. It also a great base for trips to Chester, North Wales beaches and the many historic castles, gardens and country walks in the area. Very dog friendly with fully enclosed private garden. Private off road parking with a 7kw Type 2 electric vehicle charger. Ray and Jackie are the most genuine, helpful and welcoming hosts we have met and it was a pleasure to meet them and stay there. We can't thank them enough for making our stay so delightful and we highly recommend the Sandstone Trail Cottages."

"I stayed at Granary Cottage at Sandstone Trail Cottages in December, just before Christmas. The cottage was beautiful... warm and cozy with excellent ameneties... the cottage had self catering facilities so I could cook for myself on the nights I didn’t want to eat out. I even had fresh eggs from their own hens for breakfast most mornings! Jackie & Ray made me feel really welcome from the moment I arrived. I even borrowed their dog Amie to take walking around the country trails. Fantastic scenic walking. Big selling point for me was that this is dog friendly accomodation.... can’t wait to come back for longer with my own hound to explore some more country pubs (I mean hikes!) lol - Thanks for the stay guys!"

"I have been hosted there for almost 2 months. Apartments are really nice, clean, they have all what you need being only 15 min far from Chester. Jackie & Ray always supporting on what you might need. Village is quiet surrounded by Cheshire fields and hills, a place to walk after work, only green and calm. A place to discover and enjoy."

"Have just returned from a fantastic weekend at the Sandstone Trail cottages and what an amazing place ! Our cottage was comfortable and well furnished (huge comfortable bed!) to a very high standard, all mod cons and was very clean throughout. The owners Jackie and Ray are extremely friendly and gave us lots of local info re walks into the hills and the nearest pub (5 Min walk) which served great food , drinks and was dog friendly, which meant we could go out for the evening. The village is so peaceful, neighbours were very friendly, beautiful scenery - a real get away retreat. We shall be recommending to friends and family and will definitely be booking again for later in the year - Thank you"
