"Great little b&b which could be used as a base for the surrounding areas. Staff very friendly and provided an excellent services. Rooms very good size, clean, comfy beds and great selection of hot & cold beverages. Food & drink reasonably priced and very tasty. All in all, beautiful place and excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again."

"Arrived on Sunday. Hadn't made a booking but we were lucky that one last table was available. Felt very welcome by the lovely staff and the Sunday roast was excellent. We do go to this place on a quite regular basis. Would recommend."

"Amazing Sunday roast here today - we usually dine in Altrincham where we live, but we were in the area and called to see if they could fit us in - our children (2 under 2) were not quite playing ball, they brought over some colouring stuff and they boxed up our desserts to take away. Amazing service and definitely our top 3 best roast dinners we have had (we dine out most Sundays so definitely a worthy mark) We will definitely return if we are in the area again!"

"Called in for a late lunch on the way back from Cheshire Oaks, best decision we’ve made that day, staff very pleasant went for the Gammon steak and the wife went for Haddock. both meals were cooked to perfection, the Gammon Steak was the best that I’ve had in a very long while. highly recommended. Will be returning sooner than later to sample something else from the menu"

"Bad food, poor service and a car park management company (I don't agree with their restricted communication for reply or appeal). This used to be a nice pub, don't think we will be back. No one asked about the food until the end, oven cooked chips, dry peas, chewy tasteless poor quality fish, staff then said sorry and presented a bill for the full amount, couldn't have been that sorry!!"
