"This is my first Airbnb and they have set a high standard for any others I visit. On the day of my arrival I received a message to inform me all was ready for me. Direction and access information access had been received prior to this. On arriving we happened to meet Dan. The lodge has a parking space by the front door. Inside was clean, spacious and dressed for our arrival. A personal handwritten welcoming card with a information pack included instructions and local information. A tray of tea, coffee and some lovely wine. Each room had fresh bedding and a towel set parcel... as well as some hidden treats for the kids. Also the doggie guest have there own towels, blankets and treats. The kitchen is stocked with the essential items for you to cook whilst here. Or there are takeaway menus and information on local places to eat out. We have enjoyed meal at the Hotel just a short walk down the road. There is Internet access, sky TV but to be honest we enjoyed using the hot tub and watching the cheeky squirrel from the window, whilst s/he proceeded to empty the bird feeder daily. There is a cupboard filled of board games to amuse children and adults. I do recommend taking a walk around the lake which you can reach other the meadow. This place has ticked so many boxes for us as a family and I'll be booking to come again."
