"Just home from a first choice all inclusive holiday. Had a great time mainly down to the company we were with. The 3 star rating is cause I'm sitting on the fence when it comes to first choice. The hotel was OK, I wouldn't say it was a premium site as advertised due to the rooms not being in best condition but it was clean, good facilities, fab pools and a great variety of food. It was predominantly German, which although isn't a problem, meant our children struggled with things like kids mini disco as all songs were German. However, Whilst there we encountered a couple of small problems, approached the rep who nodded in all the right places and promptly did nothing!! Whether this is cause those above tell them not to or whether it's cause they have "can't be bothered" syndrome who knows but they seem to be there to just sell extras. They were nice enough people, just useless. We paid out over 500 euros to go on a trip. The rep told us he'd phoned ahead twice to tell them we a larger party. We arrived (late as tui coach was 40 mins late) only to be told no large tables. Rep stood around not doing a lot whilst the staff at the show ran around like headless chickens trying to accommodate us and make up for something that wasn't actually down to them. I've traveled with first choice a lot before, always been impressed until now. Shame."
