"Very impressed by the surgery. Having recently moved to the area, I was a little anxious about a new GP. However, the receptionists are friendly and helpful. I was offered an appointment with a Dr the following day, and he couldn’t have been kinder and more pleasant. Full marks from me!"

"This surgery has gone to the dogs! It used to be the best one in the area. Not any more! Unhelpful staff, different doctors every time you ring/attend, impossible to get an appointment when you need one. They don't seem to appreciate that you ring because you need to and not on a passing fancy! Rudeness is something there is no excuse for. The patients are requested to be polite. I would like to request that the staff reciprocate!"

"Having recently registered with this practice I read the reviews and was feeling anxious when I needed to contact Well Street with a minor recurring condition. However, I cannot praise the whole staff team enough. We are in the middle of a pandemic but the staff have an organised and orderly system for dealing with patients' concerns and requests. All the receptionists, nurses and doctors have been extremely helpful, responsive and knowledgeable. The waiting time on the phones can be lengthy but put your phone on loud squeaker and carry on what you were doing whist you wait! Excellent service. Thank you."

"I recently had a terrifying experience when I found a lump in my breast. I immediately went and saw Dr Yates at the amazing drop in service they run from 8 until 9.30am during the week and he was so kind and compassionate. He examined me as sensitively as he could and put me at my ease by saying it didn’t feel like a cancerous lump but that he still wanted to refer me straight to the breast care unit to make absolutely sure. Because he acted so quickly and referred me on the spot, I was treated in under a week and found they were just cysts. This reduced my stress hugely and I was able to quickly get back to normal and enjoy life again. His kindness and sensitivity to my issue really helped and enabled me to cope so much better with what could have been a life threatening illness. The staff here are so caring and both receptionists and medical practitioners are lovely and so hard working. I cant fault them. Thank you Well street."
