"Prices are extremely good. However, the layout of the store was not the best. The entry lobby is very small so it can get congested making it difficult to get into the store. The aisles are very narrow. I am assuming the Loughborough store is one of the older ones as I have been in other Aldi stores that are far more spacious and easier to navigate."

"Went in to compare with another German owned supermarket I always use when possible. Whilst pricing and range of products were very competitive, disappointingly, the actual shop had a very small (for want of a better description) initial shopping area where you can pick up a handbasket. It was just gave a cramped and cluttered impression. The aisles were relatively narrow with high racking and ĺooked a lot like the discount supermarkets from years ago. The check out was a cramped area as well. To sum up, worth going in to shop as great value but not a pleasant experience especially if you suffer from claustrophobia or don't like the narrow aisles. I must add that this is the first and only ALDI I have shopped in. It looks relatively old so others may suit me better."
