"I’ll go to the shop on a regular basis to pick up my parcels. I find the staff very friendly specially the woman behind the counter. She is lovely friendly and funny and very helpful and I always leave the shop with a smile on my face."

"What’s absolutely shocking to me, reading all these negative reviews, is how they pertain to people who only wanted the service of their parcels. Buy something from the shop regardless if they offer the service or not. It’s to their own discretion. I have only received jovial banter and a ready smile from a lovely lady Mrs Patel. On my bad days she is quick to make me feel better and the products are exactly what I need which is a bonus. So yes, I like this place and I will continue to go. Take your parcels elsewhere."

"Had to give this one star but actually they deserve none. The woman is rude, ignorant and couldn't care less. Absolutely shocking customer service. She seems to believe she has a right to refuse parcels causing a real headache for us chasing around and having to reorder from the supplier. The only response is "Not my problem". I've lodged a complaint to Collect + and having read some of the reviews on here, I'm probably not the only one. She must be breaking her service agreement with Collect + by doing this. Avoid the shop if you can. Shops like this can earn up to £3.5K a year on the commission for sending and receiving parcels. My advice to the lady is either offer the advertised service or don't bother. Rant over."

"Hi, I regular visit Laxmi news. The owner is always present and works very hard to meet customer expectations. We often have a friendly banter and she has always been helpful. If using Yodel it is best to drop off parcels during the week and not at weekends as space is at a premium. In summary I have always been happy with the outcome of my visits. Being friendly and courteous gains respect."

"I rarely go in this store, only because my son is fussy & the things he wants aren't available (or too expensive!) - but whenever I DO go in, they're friendly & helpful. I especially love the lady, she has a wicked sense of humour & was amazing during the pandemic when there was no toilet roll, flour, eggs etc. I had to write because they had poor rating on reviews!"
