Reviews
"My child has been victim of bullying in BP school which, in the case of an adult, would be qualified as a crime. No consequences, no investigations ( while evidences has been provided), apart of laconic “we will take care of it, everything is under control”. In results, we had to move our child to the different school, where we received psychological support and therapy. After of all this trauma, I found out that the bully found another victim. Another young self confidence has been destroyed. I can’t turn back time, but might my voice will stop this incredible blindness."
"I’ll leave a second review. This school is worse than a Chinese lamp you ordered drunk on Facebook at 2am.... 8 months later your child won’t have a bulb and be missing a plug / made of electrocuted as soon as it gets home / plugged in. This isn’t education. This is Bletchley. Thank god Alan Turin didn’t attend this failure of welfare, education & care. You let bullies be winners // The smart kids be victims. You don’t embrace the creative // or protect the venerable. Final thoughts... Give your kid a day job in the local chippy instead. They’ll learn more & be much safer."
"My son was pulled around by his limbs and forcefully pulled his head around, by a training assistant may I add. We have had to take him out of the school for his own protection. Be careful if you are taking your children here as they protect their own not the children! **Update** This is an email from the Head teacher covering his teaching assistants actions to the rest of the parents. I want to stress this is totally untrue, the teaching assistant was infuriated that my child didn’t listen first time and couldn’t control herself. She then mocked him stating my two year old wouldn’t even get upset like you! Your friends are watching. She has since tried to slap another child missing him, then continued to hit the next child. This states that procedures were followed, in actual fact, all the school did was protect their own and cover tracks. My son was not once spoke to, not by his teacher/ head teacher nor anyone else, the whole school completely failed safeguarding our child. They state they followed the complaint by the letter , how is this possible when you do not speak to the involved. They continue to act like nothing has happened, when my child has lost his friends, his childhood friends from nursery. This teacher has been there a matter of months, my child had been there 7 years including nursery. It’s morally wrong!! I would like to add my daughter was actually bullied at the same school throughout her whole schooling life but would not leave her friends so stayed the duration. Again there was protection in this instance, as the child’s parent was on the board of governors. The Headteacher failed miserably to protect my daughter and the head of the board of governors finally stepped in and brought a stop to it towards the final year of her school time at Bishop Parker. This went on for a period of around 6 years on and off. This school is corrupt and we also question the head teacher’s ability to run 2 schools at the same time. ** Their incorrect statements below, why would you not state how she really acted, they merely said training will be provided? ** ‘’Stopping a child rocking on their chair in this case actually prevented a possible accident if the pupil had fallen and hit their head. One of our teachers rightly stepped in when a new and not fully inducted member of our non-teaching team did not follow our school behaviour policy of dealing with misbehaviour in a positive way and as a result upset a pupil. We apologised sincerely to the family for the upset caused and then followed our complaints procedure to the letter.’’ Again not true… ’’"
"We decided mid-term to remove our children from this school which is a great shame because when they first started the school was great but from September 21 when our eldest daughter started in year 3 that’s when we started having issues and our daughter started losing her confidence. There was no structure in place for her education, it was free for all. Teachers at times absent from the class, no homework or structured lessons. Our daughter use to love over and above (Trying for awards) but constantly felt ignored and rejected, once it started affecting her confidence we had to take her out and find another school which would focus on her educational well-being and getting her confidence back. You can get a meeting with the headteacher but unfortunately nothing is ever done. Parents/teachers have left and once he is informed nobody gets a reply. It’s unfortunate because there are some nice teachers who cares for your child but these are very few. Our children have been in the Nursery, year 1, 2, and 3 and can say the school has really gone hill and I am glad we took the bold step to remove our eldest child. My recommendation would be Do not send your child to this school as most of the good teachers who actually care have left."
"Truly appalling school, once our child was removed to a new school we could not believe the difference in care. Even after very serious and dangerous bullying was reported to this school they only offered to talk to us via email, the police should’ve been involved at this level. Dangerous and even violent pupils are put in normal classes and this went on for years causing psychological damage which is still being treated. When our child’s report was requested by our new school none of this was documented at all but only the most basic of information provided. This was found to be shocking by the new school who refused to say anymore but to shake their heads in disbelief. Maybe they’re short staffed or maybe they just don’t care but alienation & lack of one on one care to each child is offered here, it’s just disgraceful. Please demand more than you’re being offered if you child is attending this school & is coming home upset."
