"Nightmare.. ordered a sofa bed and mattress during the Christmas holidays. Waited 4 weeks. Only to receive a damaged sofa-bed that had someone else's name and address with RTS on the label! The sofa had been delivered to me damaged after already being returned by a customer in Scotland!! Still waiting for it to be collected as I waited over a week for someone to reply to my email complaint. In the meantime have had a redelivery notice for 26.12.50! I could of ordered a week after my original order for a lower price and quicker delivery! Useless."

The experience in shop was top class, we felt valued and the staff were helpful, friendly and wanted to help pick the perfect mattress for our needs. The delivery men came when they said they would and were outstanding in every way. We give Bensons and Beds 10/10 and would highly recommend them."

"They were initially helpful in the store but after making a purchase it has been a nightmare. It has been 3 months now and we still have no bed or even a delivery date to show for what we have spent. We have had 2 cancelled deliveries at extremely short notice (as little as 12 hours before delivery) and no help has been given by the store or at head office. Please think before you buy anything from here.."

"Revisiting my review: I purchased a divan bed set from Bensons in September. 24 hours before it was suppose to be delivered at the end of October, it was rescheduled for a month later bringing it to the end of November. Annoying as days had been booked off work. The shocking part was when the bed finally arrived. One side of the divan base was absolutely covered in screws inside of the plastic. Seems there's absolutely no quality control at the factory and somehow a box of 200 wood screws had been left inside of the divan base. All of these were rattling around inside for god knows how long. One had even embedded itself into the base and we had to unscrew it to prevent further damage! These aren't the only things wrong with the base. It's not the kind of quality you expect from a £550 divan base! All of this has been written in a complaints email but it's nearing 2 weeks now and I've yet to get a reply. Someone replied to my previous review telling me to forward the email with the reference 'RX0002545' so it could be sorted quicker. I have since done that and still have no reply. I will not be buying from Bensons again! This is appalling."
