"We ordered in the store for take-away and you can see the stations behind the counter. It looked very much like everything that went into the burger was bought in, premade. Chips were out of a frozen bag, and from what I could tell the burger patties were straight out the fridge. Nothing gourmet about this place. If this doesn't bother you, the burger was still tasty and everything was made to order even if a little pricey given the quality of the food."

"Top place! Kids loves too, chicken nuggets brilliant! Not some cheapest weird meat like in some other places. Food always hot and very decent portions for decent price. Everything made really nicely and not overloaded or missing. Definitely worth a visit or get it home when it's to cold & rainy! Thank you"

"New to the area and been trying to find a local takeaway we can rely on for our once a week takeaway. Driven past here a few times and decided to give it a try. There is a lot of choice here with burgers, hotdogs and chicken available. I thought I would try out the burgers as this is what you'd expect is the speciality. Again a decent choice of burgers, I picked out the original burger with a couple of modifications. Service was very good, order was easy. Didn't have to wait too long for my burger, which I think is an interesting one because it rang some alarm bells. Normally I'd expect the cooking to take a bit longer. Regardless I took the items and went home to try. The burger wasn't that good unfortunately, it had the dry mealy texture of a frozen patty. The toppings were nicely applied and it had a brioche style bun. But it was all let down by a dry juiceless burger. I think if you want to call yourself The Original Gourmet Burger Co you really need to be using freshly made burger patties. This didn't do it for me. The search continues"

"I just ordered a takeaway. I can say I always order the chicken tikka loaded fries, which is always the best 10/10. However, this time my parents thought let’s try the chicken strips. I can strongly advise anyone who wants to get chicken strips- do not get it as it’s very dry. Also, in my salad I found a plastic at the end, plastic probably from the cucumber wrapping. I (I’m guessing). Very disappointed. I have posted a pic of the plastic"
