"This is a lovely restaurant who specialize in steaks but have many other options available including vegetarian, fish, pasta, burgers etc. Quite expensive these days. I understand recent cost increases so this could be a factor. Service is good if a little slow, but this isn't the sort of dining that you want to rush anyway. The food was largely really good. The herb crusted hake was perfect and piping hot, served with chorizo and new potatoes. The sea bass was lovely but a little on the lukewarm side. Chicken wings were great and the prawn pil pil was lovely. Highly recommended for a good food evening with family or friends."

"Wow what a dinner! They had a gin special only 8 quid, and so nice! The chicken wings to start were amazing!! I had the mrs rump steak for mains with mushrooms and a baked potato, so good!! Service very good, I think everyone asked us was everything okay. Dessert to finish was the pecan and caramel cheesecake, only thing to critique was the sauce was too thick and the biscuit base was very hard. Overall, fantastic evening."
