"I filled in the on line proposal form for home insurance after I did that it said to call the office with the reference number I've called 3 times this week twice I was told I'm on a priority list and would get a call back, still waiting 6 days after my first call, despite having my car insured with them, I certainly wouldn't rate their customer service, I'll possibly get a call after this review"

"I've been with FBD a good few years, always gave them my business even if they were a little more expensive than other quotes just to save the hassle with documents etc. Last month I got my renewal and was shocked at how high it was after no claims penalty points on my licence ever. €900 and after ringing around every quote was cheaper, cheapest being €540. Why screw a loyal customer that has never had a claim? I just don't understand and that's why I do not recommend fbd. Take your business elsewhere folks they do not reward your loyalty and business."

"Being a customer of FBD Insurance for years. I found a very much competitive quote from the AA on-line FBD are being very difficult Emailing on my No Claim Bonus. I have spent days corresponding and trying to retrieve the document from FBD . my God do they make you suffer before you get away from this crew. It really is unnecessary that they do this and if they read this SEND ME MY NO CLAIMS BONUS LETTER to my email address without all this creating accounts with your own mailing system and new FBD Password etc, ITS NONSENSE and UNNECESSARY. Naughty Stop it Now."

"FBD has nose dived with its customer service, have been a loyal customer for 10+ years and emigrated for 2 years, returned and had 2 different promises to get a call back about a quote, neither happened so went with a different company (who called back when they said they would).. Called today to get no claims letter, failed to send by email as promised... wrote to the complaints department on Facebook, received a response saying sorry and I would get a call back later today.... what a surprise-no call back.. isn't insurance meant to be peace of mind??? FBD shame on your lack of ability to give a really basic service.... would not recommend"

"6 years of custom and I'd never deal with FBD again after the way I was treated. I was lied to regarding policy changes and then threatened that my policy would be cancelled, yet they didn't. I was even offered a renewal after being told they couldn't insure me. Very unprofessional. Yet another company streamlining and cutting corners that doesn't see that they need paying customers to survive."
