"Kara on reception was brilliant, couldn't do enough to make our stay a pleasant event. The place is positioned perfectly for what we were doing and the pub next door offers food at a reasonable price. Perfect for the price."
"I appreciate that Travelodge does accommodate pets. And we were fortunate enough to make use of this service, as we have one dog which we included with our booking. However, after having checked in with friendly reception staff, we were disappointed to note that the carpet in our room was stained, and very aged. We were also missing one bed. This was immediately rectified by the woman at reception, who was hugely apologetic and offered us a second tea/coffee caddie and an extra set of towels. And of course, she supplied us with the missing bed. It's just a shame that the cleaning staff don't seem to take their cleaning duties that seriously, as the room was quite grubby. The carpark was also very slippy, with loads of fallen leaves which had turned to mush. It also suffered from litter that could have easily been picked up... Overall? Not great, but then what should we have expected? The answer being, cleanliness."

"Gentleman on reception was very friendly and helpful. Booked as a last minute booking and arrived late. Very quiet location so had a decent sleep. I thought it was very expensive for the one night. Carpets had a few holes the furniture very outdated and there was a leak outside in the corridor with a big tub to catch the dripping water."
