"Rooms perfectly adequate and well equipped but free space limited. Standard of build questionable. Golf on site. Spa good. Restaurant ok but service very poor initially, improved dramatically once I had a word with them (not sure situation helped by the robot but does introduce a talking point!). Breakfast good but they need another coffee machine."

"My rating is based on the waterfront restaurant only I have used the golf course, spa and driving range and they are 5 stars, we used the restaurant after playing a round of golf around 15.30 the restaurant is well decorated smart and very modern inside we waited to be seated and were given menus from the bar before we sat down once we had decided what to eat and drink no one came to take the order despite many staff standing around at the blue desk as you enter on the left I went to the bar ordered and also ordered drinks which were brought over the food arrived without knives and forks? Which were brought after the food was on the table so getting cold, no one came to clean the plates away or offer desserts I had to go back up to the bar and repeat the process maybe they don't wait on the tables but that should be made clear and they applied an £11.50 gratuity charge- for what I served myself, it wasn't busy which was nice and on a positive, the food was good expensive but good flavours, Kaite and a young man behind the bar seemed to be the only 2 working perhaps the other staff were part of a different area? On the whole not bad I will return now I know what to expect."

"Stayed here for a week for a work event. The reception check in and out, and the friendliness of the reception team was great, the room was comfortable for a weeks stay. Really good housekeeping room was always spotlessly clean. The food and beverage was OK but lacked a bit of consistency on the food front one day really great the next not so. But overall, a great stay."

"Fantastic hotel & the service was second to none. Outdoor smoking area with seats. The buffet breakfast was amazing- choice of either hot or cold which was a very pleasant surprise. Free access to loads of facilities gorgeous surroundings and the view from the restaurant was spectacular. The only downside was created by other guests who sounded like a herd of elephants first thing in the morning! I would certainly stay again and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel"
