"My Sister and I just finished our trip to Scotland. We were origanally on a tour with 18 other people. At the last minute all of the other people on our tour cancelled instead of having us book a tour at a future date Abbey hired us cars and drivers for a private tour just the 2 f us. We had the best drivers and the best time ever. Both drivers went out of their way to make sure we would see as much as possible. Neil and Patrick were so nice they took us every where, We saw more than we would have ever seen on the origanal tour that was book. They were both very professional yet so friendly we felt like we were traveling with long time friends. They were both very knowledgable on the history of every where they took us and they were thrilled that we also knew a lot about their country’s history. I never dreamed my trip to Scotland would be so magnificent. Thank You Abbey for making my dreams come true. I hope they will continue to book trips with Neil Spowart and with Patrick Friel. They are both out of Edinburgh and truest made our trip magical!"

"The selection of properties given to us by Abbey was skewed and not all properties kept our specifications in mind. Although some of the destination hotels were very good, one in particular was far from acceptable and extremely off the mark from our expectations. We were booked into a hotel that did not have our reservation on file, the hotel had no climate control, had toilets that did not function properly and toilet seats that were broken. Our biggest concern was the absolute lack of interest in correcting the issue. We would never recommend Abbey tours to anyone."

"My family (dad, Mum and sister and me) were very disappointed today we were booked on a tour to Cork and Blarney confirmed tour yesterday met at the time specified this morning to find our names were not on the list nor were there enough seats. So disappointed we are only in Dublin 2 days and we were so looking forward to this tour. It was booked and paid for months ago."

"My wife and i did the cliffs of moher day trip from dublin and loved it. Our tour guide/driver Tony was exceptionally versed in the history of Ireland from folk lore to current events. Funny and witty he made the trip all that much better. Thank you to our driver tony for making us an extremely memorable experience."

"Abbey Tours organised a 10-day trip to the Irish Atlantic coast on behalf of Air Canada. While the selection of hotels was excellent, one of the two B&Bs was of a lesser quality. But it was the travel directions to most of our accommodations that was decidedly poor. That began with the first hotel in the south of Dublin that we found only after a prologued search. Some places had only GPS latitude and longitude directions provided, however, our car was not equipped with GPS, and no mention was made by Hertz car hire that one might be advisable. For travellers in a new country, the lack of clear and adequate directions was a serious shortcoming."
