"Great stay, stayed in a single room as it suited my needs. Above the bar area, so can be a little loud, but did my research and was aware before the stay. Good breakfast, food was great, guinness was great. Locals really friendly. Great value stay and would definitely return."

"Outstanding food, beer, service and music. Was in Trim for 2 separate weeks training, second time I was in the barman Dylan (I think it's Dylan, rubbish with names and felt rude to ask because he) said 'how you doing Michael'. If he ever moved to Donegal I'd employ him tomorrow. Great pub."

"About the pub: the atmosphere was fantastic at saturday night. We could attend live music and it was really great. The staff who served us was super kind and charming, they made us feel very confortable :) Definitely highly recommended. We only visited the pub (not the hotel)."

"It's a really nice restaurant and bar with a nice and welcoming atmosphere but if I was to rate it as a hotel I would give it just 2 stars. Need to dust the cobwebs from the ceilings of the bedroom. The bed was also flattened and very dipped in the middle. The sheets had some questionable spots on them I assume the kind that don't come out from washing. The room was extremely noisy as it is above the courtyard but I suppose that can't be helped. It serves it's purpose as an affordable hotel but not much more than that."
