"Family gathering of 8 adults plus a 2yr old. Very welcoming Staff, who promptly served us drinks and gave us Menus to study, plus several tempting 'specials' on the board. Orders taken and we were shown to our table. Food arrived soon afterwards, and it's fair to say that everyone, without exception, was very happy with the quality and quantity. We were all full, so skipped desserts, but they sounded very tempting (another time perhaps). To sum up, this was a very pleasant lunch experience. All members of Staff were very personable and we would all return if in the area again. (We were staying in a holiday cottage about 4 miles away)."

"We have visited here for lunch on a Saturday three times now. Great choices on the menu with a specials board available too. Each time the food has been, well cooked, beautifully presented and delicious. We shall definitely be visiting again in the future. The staff are lovely, polite helpful and professional. The setting is very peaceful and quiet. A rather unspoilt charming place."
