"Quite simply the best pub experience ever. We stayed one night here to celebrate our first anniversary having lunch and 3 courses for dinner. The location is ideal for a getaway with a beautiful setting and large garden seating area too. The views with the nearby riding centre and water feature make this a very relaxing location. The pub itself is kept very clean as are the bedrooms and bathrooms. Very very good facilities for a pub stay. Everything is modern in a traditional style. The food is delicious. The double cooked chips are amazing and i never thought I'd say it but that perhaps was the best rump steak I've ever had. Prices are competitive too!! The breakfast is top notch, can't be faulted!! The staff are so helpful, friendly, attentive and patient, not in a rush even if busy. We can't wait to come back here again and can't recommend this place enough!! Thank you to all the staff that helped make our stay here truly the best day ever!"
