"We stopped by without having booked. They were fully booked but the chef said he would squeeze us in. The food was really fantastic, reasonable price and a good size portion. My partner had a 12oz burger and said it was delicious, as were his skin on hand made fries. (He has been a Michelin star chef so I'm impressed he said how much he enjoyed it!!!) I had hinters chicken and it too tasted lovely. Fresh vegetables cooked to perfection. We sat in a side area decorated with loads of Marilyn Monroe memorabilia, lovely. The landlord wasn't that chatty, was awaiting a large group of people so probably pre-occupied. But the waitress very friendly. Would definitely go back and most certainly recommend this one to everyone!"

"l went to the swan motel yesterday for lunch with my two aunts and uncle, as always it was lovely, we arrived just before opening time but was quite happy to wait outside, but the lady open early for us as my aunt has mobility issues and got us refreshments. really appreciated. The meal was excellent, hot, absolutely loads and really tasty. l wouldn't hesitate to recommend going to the Swan motel for food and the service was excellent."
