"Rang Bolands(only because St Margaret's no longer sell parts since the fire) for a rubber pipe About 12in long...2nd hand, 10 year old car so obviously old pipe.. Other yards told me usually 30 but had none.. Price given by bolands 60euro and collect it.. . New from main dealer its 70euro... I told him this, I offered 40,he quickly +bluntly refused... This is the exact reason I haven't rang them in about 20 years after getting something from summerhill spares also half the price of bolands ... And seems they haven't changed 1 bit and moved with the times online.. They must think people can't get parts online in minutes, 20 years ago we had to pay the price or go driving everywhere.. Rang OCG minutes later, they sent that day and I got it delivered next morning for 30 euros all inclusive, ring if anything wrong and they'd replace/refund .. So half of bolands price and delivered.. Bolands still have the 10 year old pipe, OCG have my cash, my car is fixed. My advice... Ring OCG... Or pop into summerhill spares up the road for off the shelf, checked parts and always half the price quoted by Bolands. Maybe I'll try again in another 20 years.."

"I sold an old banger to them last year , not worth repairing as the costs were higher than the car’s value. So I sold to them for scrap. But last week the car past me in traffic ! Rang Joe and he confirmed it’s still on the road. So I believed they were car dismantlers when I handed over the keys but they also do second hand sales. I’d love to know what they got for mine - made a great profit on it anyway ! I will use approved scrap yard next time so I know it’ll go to the crusher."
