"Visited before and after the tour of Kilmainham Gaol! Very welcoming atmosphere. Great pint of Guinness. Friendly locals. Only in for drink but decided to stay for food too. Great meal and service. Would definitely return."

"Not friendly or welcoming. We walked over from the hotel to get a drink and dinner and were completely ignored for about 15 minutes. We walked to the bar to ask if we needed to order at the bar or what the deal was. A server finally came to take our order. We got a beer with a side of attitude and decided to skip any food since their menu is VERY limited and nothing looked appetizing."

"The food was really lovely, fish tasted fresh and the servers were extremely attentive. We came here after our tour of the gaol across the road. Special thanks to the blonde lady with the Balenciaga shoes on, one of the best servers I've ever had and very friendly despite having to work on Easter Sunday!"

"3 of us popped in for a cup of tea after a tour of Kilmainham Gaol. After ordering we were presented with one pot of tea and 3 mugs. The pot only held enough tea for 2 of the mugs and 1 tea bag was used. We raised the issue and were told the best they could do was top up the pot with more hot water. Basically this joke of an establishment feels it is acceptable to charge their customers €7.80 for a single tea bag and some hot water. Shameful. Steer clear."
