Reviews
"Lovely old style Dublin pub with professional bar staff, ample seating, isn't overwhelmed with giant TV screens. One of a dying breed. Great pint of stout."
"A very beautiful ancient pub, in the heart of Ranelagh. I suggest, if it is available, the "nook" a closed small room adjacent to the bar, where you can have a nice chat with close friends, sit 5/6. Plus, from this strategic place, you can have a direct and easy access to the bartender. Never to forget !"
"Hadn't been here for years. Nothing had changed. Still got the great atmosphere of a country pub transplanted to the city. Glad the sloping floors had not been fixed as it adds to the quirkiness of the place. Ah the memories!"
"Stopped in for a couple of pints. Bar man extremely rude. I simply asked him how much longer it would take to complete the order for a pint of lager. They were replacing the cask and he never told me. So 20 minutes later I got the pint and a load of cheek from the barman. Will not be going back."
