"Great local pub with good food too. Lounge with decent selection of high quality food. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The salmon and lamb are particularly good. Good portion size and not over priced. Family friendly and the covered terrace outside is an option as it’s heated and can fit larger groups. The bar is welcoming if you’re just having a drink and is not a “locals only” place. Professional bar staff make a difference and are a rarity these days. Good pint too. Highly recommended"

"Haven’t seen Chinese style spice bowls done well in pubs but have to say the spice bowl was excellent and portion size was great. Nachos also really good, the Guinness was lovely and the staff were all very attentive and friendly. Shout out to Jessica for looking after us!"
