Reviews
"This is a great pub. My favourite local for many years. I feel obliged to comment on the last review and the gent who was so upset by people vaping in the former smoking area. Yes. The outdoor former smoking area. Outdoors. Harry's has always been a space for friendly decent people. During Covid they struck a great partnership with BoCo pizza and it's very good, the appeal prior to Covid was, no kids and no food and that was very good. Fast forward and we have the white knicker brigade complaining about smells and posting pictures of regulars. With their consent, I presume? Doubtful. Could do less with that sort in a special and beautiful old pub."
"Great local pub. Normally bust at weekends, but lots places to sit. Great pizza now on site since covid. Guinness is pretty good and service very friendly and efficient. lots of staff so never waiting long to be served. Good place to watch sport also. Generally golf and football on tvs if you are interested. But great place to go for a chat/catchup and not be drowned out by loud music. Recommended"
"Lovely local pub. The staff are nice and prices are the same to what you would find around Dublin. The pizzas and wedges by Boco's are delicious but they are prone to forgetting parts of orders. They are grand once you remind them though."
"Come for the pizza, stay for the vaping! Don't get me wrong, the pizza is absolutely fantastic, made to perfection, stretchy dough, very high quality toppings, you can't go wrong with any of the many menu choices. Spicy pepperoni? Delicious. Pine nuts, honey and feta? Exquisite! But if you REALLY like people vaping while you eat, you're in for a treat. No matter if there are 2 smoking areas available - and if those are almost empty - you can still enjoy you watermelon, strawberry or even cotton candy flavoured poison puffed right on top of you even in the non-smoking area! That's right! And if someone complains the staff will (kindly, not their fault at all tbh) have to explain that the owner gets to decide if vaping is forbidden in the non-smoking area - thanks Dublin City Council!"
"I really liked this place. Very cool set up with a large outdoor area with a big screen TV. Lots of football matches on. Friendly and welcoming bartender. One thing to note, don't let Google fool you: They do NOT offer food (other than nuts and crisps). They do have a relatively large parking lot and free parking."
