Reviews
"Food was good service was terrible. Location was cute and central The service fee was ridiculous"
"If you are looking for a place to go with a few friends for drinks/cocktails and some light food, then I think this is a good choice. Located in the heart of Blackrock, it is very accessible by public transport which is great! The cocktails are on the more expensive side (12 euro upwards) but I thought the food was pretty reasonably priced. We booked a table for a Saturday night at 7:30pm and the place was very busy. A little bit of as younger crowd than we imagined, but it didn't hinder our experience. Service was a little mixed if we are being honest - When we entered there was a staff by the door who was not overly friendly. She pointed to our seat in the corner and we were handed menus. Other staff members were friendly, but difficult to get hold of. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience with very tasty cocktails."
"We were intrigued by your beautiful interior and decided to go in for food and drinks and left disgusted and disappointed. When we walked in, the lady working did not acknowledge or welcome us, my friend had to ask if we could seat anywhere. She answered in a cold and nonchalant manner she didn't even have the manners of handing her menus. We had to get our own menu's. We sat down for 20mins to watch your member of staff, serve other people and welcome those who came in the door after us. She ignored us, avoided eye contact and walked past our table on several occasions. I have never experienced such appalling customer service in my life. On leaving I considered if this poor treatment was based on us being the only people of colour in your establishment at that moment, but on reading the other reviews it's simply your poor training and hiring of staff, or simply the establishment as a whole."
"I’ve been a few times and have always been very happy with the food and the drinks. The service definitely leaves quite a bit to be desired. Not the most attentive staff. Overall a good place though, I’d say one of the best in the blackrock area."
"Great spot! One small issue that the staff more than made up for, we had a brilliant time here! Staff are great and cocktails great too, I ca highly recommend the old fashioned!"
