"Always a pleasure to have a few pints here, friendly, accommodating staff who go the extra mile. Good for rugby and sports but maybe ask in advance if they are showing what you want to see. A good local pub and good pub grub food is served too. Well worth a stop over after a walk on Killiney Hill or the area."

"Great place to eat after visiting the nearby parks. The staff were welcoming and our food was ready very quickly. I tried the fried scampi and it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, I really liked it. The only thing I would improve is to reduce the amount of raw onions in the salad."

"We came here for a quick family gathering and found the staff both friendly and accommodating. It was a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy, particularly if you removed the 25 or so from our party. We sat or in the beer garden at the front of the pub which is surprisingly large. They thoughtfully had a water container for dogs, as they know man's best friend also require a drink in a pub. The sandwiches supplied were tasty and when we ran out of them, they made up another few plates for us."

"Very cosy friendly pub with a good quality food menu, a bit limited however but the ambiance and cosieness make up for that. The bar manager particularly attentive and helpful and efficient. Expect it to be busy Friday afternoon with customers coming home from work."

"Fantastic local feeling! Four of us were over from New York and Florida looking for someplace to eat on a Sunday night. My uncle looked up some restaurants and said this one looked good- we weren’t disappointed! Super friendly staff! The food was delicious! Mark at Druid’s Chair was very friendly, a great sense of humor. He chatted with us for quite a while and gave us so much information about getting into Dublin and what to see and how to get around. We felt very welcome and had a wonderful evening!"
