About the Business
Looking for a place to grab a great meal or a drink while soaking up some Irish history and culture? Then Padraig Pearse is the perfect stop for you. Located at 130 Pearse Street in Dublin, this establishment offers delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a whole lot of atmosphere.
As a point of interest, Padraig Pearse is steeped in history. The building was once the headquarters of the Irish Volunteer movement, and it played a central role in the 1916 Easter Rising. Today, the bar and restaurant pays tribute to these events with subtle nods to the past throughout its décor and menu.
Inside, you'll find an inviting atmosphere that combines the traditional with the contemporary. Rustic wood paneling, cozy booths, and old-fashioned glass cabinets sit alongside modern touches like sleek bar stools and minimalist pendant lighting. The perfect vibe to enjoy a meal or a drink with friends, family, or colleagues.
When it comes to the food and drink menu, Padraig Pearse offers a mix of traditional Irish fare and modern cuisine. Enjoy classic pub dishes like fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and hearty stews or indulge in contemporary dishes like spicy chicken wings or vegetarian burgers. There are also plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options available to cater to a variety of dietary needs.
Pair your meal with a pint of Guinness or other local craft beers, or opt for a glass of wine or a tasty cocktail. The knowledgeable bar staff is always on hand to make recommendations or help you find your new favorite drink.
Whether you're looking for a casual dinner with friends or a night out exploring Irish history, Padraig Pearse is the ideal destination. So why not make a reservation today and see what this iconic Dublin establishment has in store for you?
Reviews
"the most irish of all the irish pubs in ireland. amazing. words cannot describe. good value for the money."
"Felt like a genuinely local pub, with a simple yet welcoming atmosphere. Selection of beers is limited, but enough to suit anyone's needs. We jist had lost a rugby game against Ireland, and they only made a little fun of us, so that was nice."
"Gotta be best pint Guiness in Dublin and locals are amazingly welcoming , was there for 2 days and made me feel like I was a local"
"I came to Dublin for a really nice pint of Guinness and a true friendly Irish bar. It has always been on my bucket list and that is exactly what I got! The Guinness is the best I've ever had, the service is fantastic and Thomas makes everyone really welcome the locals had me entertained really friendly and I think it should be on every visitors to Dublin list to try the Guinness (€5 a pint is very reasonable). This is a true Irish Pub, not a chain pub, no food or fake pretend pub just good honestly unashamedly Irish pub."
"Quite the experience. Lovely people, workingman's pub. Amazing article and memorabilia on the walls. Go!"
