"Came here for a pre-Christmas family celebration. Mum was a convert already and now I am too. Wide selection of beers with the cask ale in great condition! Every morsel of food that passed my lips was delicious. Particular mentions go to the short rib beef tacos and the pear sorbet. The latter was both refreshing and indulgent and served with a shot of house gin that complimemted it beautifully. I'm a visitor to these parts but can confidently say that the quality of food and drink on offer here, coupled with the excellent service and relaxed atmosphere, make this a must visit for anyone within an hour's drive."
