"Absolutely superb pub. Great food, beer, decor, clean, full of character, recently decorated and put up with us on 3 occasions Oct half-term. One of the best. For a small kitchen the food was outstanding. Great walk from the front door down to whitwell-Reepham station. The staff were friendly and full of chat and advise. Wish it were my local."

"This seems like a nice little pub. I could not fault the food and thoroughly recommend the flat iron streak. It was great value for money also. The only reason that it is not a 5 star review is I seemed to get forgotten by the staff, no one seemed to want to take my dessert order or bring my bill."
