"WE went for Lunch. Received a friendly Welcome at the Bar. Our meal was served within 8 minutes, and when it arrived piping hot, the amount of food on the plate was most generous, and also very tasty. The cost was reasonable and in keeping with the whole enjoyable experience. Thoroughly recommended and will return."

"Lovely pub. Clean ale, clean crisp lagers and very friendly management. Garden's nice too. Could open an hour earlier during the week though in my opinion but don't know if there is the demand. Highly recommend."

"This pub is an excellent hidden gem! It's in a beautiful location with a very pretty garden. The food is simply delicious. It is unpretentious, well-cooked, tasty and well worth every single penny. The staff are delightful. It has a relaxed, warm atmosphere. I would highly recommend this pub. Can't wait to go back."

"Excellent food with excellent Host's and Staff. If you like pie's check out the Pie board so much to choose from and all made on the premises. Great Ales from the Keg and all at a fair price. Dogs welcome in the Bar they even get a doggie treat some times"
