"More of a lounge for the adjacent lodge accommodation than a cafe but pleasant with comfortable seating and an open fireplace. There's a good selection of drinks and sweet options available and service is open late which is great. Makes a nice halfway house when travelling to and from Norwich. This lounge is also internally connected to the bar & carvery / dining room so it makes a nice place to see an evening out post meal."
"For several years now, myself and some friends all meet up here annually in the month of December to have a Christmas catch up. Nice atmosphere, tasty snacks and beverages. Plus the staff are really friendly."

"Up on arrival the staff were very busy at the counter. There was a couple of tables available but these hadn't been cleared. We cleared the table and asked for a cloth to wipe the table down. The staff the apologised saying if they had seen us come in they would have cleared the table. The staff member the proceeded to clean the table. When we ordered they apologised again for not having seen us enter. When the food turned up it was hot and good."
