"The best cappuccino I’ve had ever… Anastasia has been there since 1964, yes the place is dated but the food was very reasonably priced and really quite good. Polite and good service. I had pizza and chips 9/10. The omelette looked good too. Please support the local business and not the major chains as this is their lively hoods. If you do visit and try the coffee please feel free to mention it was recommended."

"THE FOOD WAS AWFUL! VERY DISAPPOINTED. Seemed like the food was off before cooking. Gammon was dry and awful. Mushrooms were nice and the tomato. Everything else I left on the plate. The lady (waitress) barely spoke… we didn’t feel welcome. She was nice enough but the experience was strange. We even got tooted at as we walked in and the bloke was warning us not to go in. We didn’t listen. Wish we did!!! We paid anyway but that’s just because we’re nice people. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!"

"The lady serving us was lovely!! She is softly spoken so for the hard of hearing it is a slight issue. The meals were made to order and full of flavour while boiling hot. The roast lamb covered the plate and was definitely worth the price!! They could easily add £1 or 2 more and it will still be worth it. The plates are full of good food!! Definitely coming back!!"

"We went for a quick lunch. Good size portions at a fair price. But it was the waitress that was the star, she was very entertaining with all the customers. Also the interior was out of the 70's. Something for everybody on menu and if it's not there ask."
