"We booked an early slot, the restaurant was empty on arrival but soon filled with diners. The professional waiters were polite, helpful and cheerful throughout, advising on wines and recommending cocktails. The food was very good, the wine was chilled and we had a lovely time. We would have liked some festive decoration but that's the only thing that the restaurant lacked, maybe we were too early? Now under a new name and management the place still has excellent food, service and charm. Thank you."
