"Went for a drink in the King William just before Christmas, then booked a meal for the following day. The new manager had only just started. We mentioned we'd been told how they never had your first or even second choice of food, and he said they had everything in stock. So we booked and had an enjoyable meal. We have just returned from having Sunday lunch, it was very tasty and nicely presented. So will definitely return again. Nice too to support our struggling hospitality sector too."

"This country pub is nice and cosy. I popped up there randomly searching for an evening meal. I had bangers and mash and also a glass of wine. It was Thursday evening and the place was not too busy but I've been sat next to a radiator and considering low temperature outside I've known that I'm going to enjoy. And my... I have had! Don't expect special luxury but you can count on warm meal, a pint and a welcome hospitality."

"Food is absolutely poor and the manager Amy is absolutely rude and un approachable with issues with service. Just avoid at all costs. Absolutely appalling. Poor choice of beer on tap and just a let down. once was a great pub. Bring back Joe and Andy. Was great when they run it."
