"The place was buzzing on Mother's Day late morning with families and couples treating their Mammies to breakfast. We were greeted by the very friendly and helpful lady of the house and who made sure that everyone was being looked after. Our food was fresh and hot. A winner!"
"I ordered the baked organic salmon with baby new potatoes, salsa verde, capers and mixed leaf salad and it was delicious. The potatoes were wonderfully buttery and cooked well and the salad dressing was tasty too. The salmon was perfectly cooked, in my opinion. The fish skin was caramelized and crisped up to perfection and the fish itself was still moist, juicy and flaky. The capers and the salsa verde brings it all together too. The dessert that I got, which was also wonderful, was a decadent slice of chocolaty goodness. The Anvil in Saggart easily gets 5 stars from me!"
