"I went to fagans tonight for the first time & I can't recommend it enough. We got a table by the door & the staff went out of their way to get us all a stool which was lovely. We each had a sharing platter (party of 6) & it was gorgeous. To top it off Ellen went out of her way when serving us, she was so friendly & just a great person! We will definitely be back!"

"I used to drink in Fagan as a teenager when it was a men's-only bar. It used to be a little dingy place with old men smoking their pipes and drinking their Guinness. But now, wow, they've poured some money into it. It's a fine Irish establishment with a small bar, a larger lounge, and a small patio outside. There's a mixed crowd, men, women, young, old, and everyone seems to be having a great time. I'll definitely pop back in here for a few pints the next time I'm back in good aul Ireland ... a fine pint of Guinness was served here too."

"A little bit different food service in this bar. On this particular day; (Sunday) they have what's called the "Carvery," which is essentially a chef standing at a buffet line that's behind glass, carving roast chicken, beef or ham and serving you the sides. You get a large plate for about $16.50 or a small plate for $11.50 and you pay at the end of the line, then take your plate to your table. This service runs until 7pm, and I'm not sure, but I assume regular menu service continues after? I'm not 100% but check with the bar what happens next regarding food service after the carvery is done. It was our first time here, and the food was really good, and staff was very friendly. We bought a couple T-shirts with the Fagan's name (Est. 1907) on it, they were only $15 € and well worth it to say: "Been there, done that, & got the T-shirt!""

"Really good carvery and bar food. Good big portions. The place is always busy even on non match days."

"Simply the best carvery in Dublin! Great variety and huge portions (even the half portion). Super tasty food! Great pub to watch a match in and also has a great outdoor beer garden. Reasonable prices and lovely staff. The a la Carte menu in the evenings is also really good."
