"We have been there twice last month, and we are blown away by everything but mostly by amazing food. Steaks done by chef Henry are simply the best we ever had. Friendly and amazing staff, beautiful rooms with view on Glen of Downs, amazing spa, quiet and beautiful location, if you need to get away and rest after long week there is no better place in Wicklow. We cannot wait to get there again, be spoiled and eat some amazing food. Great pricing too for what the hotel and restaurant have to offer. They defo should be rated as a 5* hotel."

"Excellent food, nice selection on the menu and delicious combination of flavours in the dishes. Also a substantial vegetarian menu available. Excellent service from Andrew and Roisin."

"Really great food and fab service. Starters and mains are great, cooked perfectly and come with lots of veg and salad. Dessert was definitely one of the best I've ever had!"

"I was in ecstasy with how good the food was. The highlights were many including the cheese and honey rolls, prawns, turkey and ham roast, triple chocolate dome and the apple crumble. The downsides were the fish cakes and the soup as they were quite basic and tasteless. I thought that the main course options could have been better as there were no standout options other than the roast of the day. Moreover, I felt that the portions could have been bigger considering the prices. For example, the roast had little potato and only one tray of veg for the both of us which was skimpy. Also, the two of us received three bread rolls on the first dinner and this went down to two for the next ones. I feel like four should be given at the very least. The servers were friendly and efficient. The prices were exorbitant and hard to justify in all honesty. Improvements needed to make it the 5-star experience"
