"Sadly we went for the prime deal and the steak was of poor quality. I would advise going for one of the specialty steaks and hope these are of better quality. We also had an issue with the salad on the prawn cocktail not being washed enough as we had a dead fly in the lower leaf, shame as the prawns and sauce were good. Desert was good, chocolate fondant. The restaurant did not charge for the starter or service charge (we did not ask for this). My reviews are very honest on the day I/we have a particular meal so my overall advice is try another steak house first but as I said before if you do go to Middeltons do not go for the prime deal, at least not the steak."

"Went for bottomless brunch and it was brilliant. Great service on the drinks from little Lauren. She was very on the ball. Great choice of cocktails!"

"Awful, Awful, Awful! Not just the food but the waitress and atmosphere. Our server who I think was the manager/head waitress as was not wearing the usual uniform was sour faced, didnt smile once, very unfriendly and sharp. We haven't eaten here for many years but my Sons chose here for their 16th birthday meal as they fancied steak. There was 5 of us, 4 had steak. I have never seen so much fat on a piece of meat, the steaks were not cooked to our liking. My burger was tasteless and the bun was stale. I think this was the worst burger I've ever had! Meanwhile the manager/head waitress was having a confrontation with a couple who were complaining about their food. This should have been dealt with instantly but she kept arguing with them which was extremely disturbing to other diners and damaging to the business. We sat 2 tables away but could hear quite clearly what was going on. The couple were not very pleased with the attitude/friendliness of this member of staff either. The battle went on for around an hour which I found appalling. Our desserts were the best part of the meal. We didnt complain as we felt this would have pushed said waitress over the edge after dealing with the other complaint. We will never return here and be sure to tell our friends to AVOID!"

"Very enjoyable food at very competitive prices. Fixed price menus available which offer amazing value at low low prices. You can buy 1, 2 or 3 courses from the fixed price lunch menu with the 3 courses costing only 10.95 and all include a great variety of options. If you're looking for a little bit more or maybe want to up to the bigger steaks, you can choose the prime set menu and get 3 courses for just 18.95, again this is fantastic value. Staff have always been very welcoming and service even when busy is still on point. They don't bug you whilst you're eating and very helpful to cater to any needs you may have during your visit. They also offer a reward system via the app where you get points per pound you spend. Added up you can take this of any bill you need to pay there. Sunday roasts available with a choice of 3 meats, cooked to your satisfaction. Again this is available as part of a Sunday roast menu so you can add another 2 courses for a couple of pounds each! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, even if you aren't a steak lover, they have other options to cater for all. If you have any allergens they are happy to help you through the menu. 5 Star service overall!!"

"We have been to Middletons a few times now, and it never disappoints. We visited today for our daughter's 12th birthday, and it was beautiful. The staff are so incredibly friendly and the food is sublime. Three of us tried the roast dinner for the first time today, and it was delicious! To be able to enjoy a two course meal for four people, with drinks for under £60, is fantastic value for money, especially when you know the meat is top quality. We can't wait to come back again."
