"Excellent village pub, what a gem! During our ramble along the South Downs we booked here for lunch on Saturday. Very popular, good reasonably priced menu, we both had chicken curry pie which was lovely. Extensive beer selection. Friendly & professional staff made our lunch time most enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this pub."

"Absolutely beautiful and old style pub looks magnificent and perfect place to spend your afternoon/evening. All the staff were very welcoming and super friendly. Food was exceptional and super delicious and so the dessert was super delicious too. Absolutely recommend to everyone."

"I have always driven past but never had the opportunity of stopping and enjoying such a lovely place. We opted for the Sunday roast, it did not disappoint! We had a beef and a pork roast and our son had fish and chips. Beautifully cooked, plenty of sides and good portion of meats, Yorkie was good too! Has outdoor seating at various points, lovely garden tucked away to the right of the pub through car park with its own bar. Great selection of lagers and ales. Highly recommend a visit!"
