"Can't believe a member of staff thinks the scanners treat an electronic barcode differently than a printed version of the same barcode. They were insistent my rewards would not be awarded if I used a printed screenshot of my rewards card and refused to scan the barcode because of that. Even when I told the operator and other staff who backed them that I had been getting my rewards for months doing it this way they were all insistent it wouldn't work. The system obviously needs a clear image of the barcode to work properly but otherwise I can't see any valid reason why anyone could believe that the barcode needs to be on a mobile phone screen rather than on a laminated piece of paper, a standard barcode scanner in a supermarket has no chance of knowing the difference anything that happens after that is done by computers behind the scenes that also wouldn't know the difference between the two. (I printed my barcode due to my phone going flat frequently)"

"We visit Asda for our weekly shop. the clothes section at one time seemed out of date but recently has picked up and the selection and quality is a lot better and the prices very competitive. The price for food in the present climate is really good and its own label well worth buying, they are consistently upgrading the quality and customer service with staff on hand for any help if needed. The on site cafe is to be honest a pleasent experience, excellent fare at affordable prices, staff friendly and well informed, hot drinks always available, staff well informed and worth the visit."

"Disgusted at such negligent service!! Cancelled my order half an hour after it was due!!! Have to wait 3-5days for a refund! Why pay £8.50 for express pay and send messages say the order is packed on its way to then say its cancelled! I know have four children without a decent tea as we were due to do a shop and nothig for school lunches this week meaning not only have we got no shopping i also have to pay for school dinners!!!! Absolutely shocking service from them!!!! Never ever will i shop here again!!!! Do not waste your time with them expecially if your really low on shopping and money because they will leave you with nothing!!!!"
