"What a treasure! I can't believe I have lived in the area so long and not discovered Padella D'oro! The menu was extensive and very adaptable to my need for gluten-free food. The food was so delicious and reasonably priced and the lovely young lady who served us was so friendly and engaging. "Stopped inby chance whilst waiting for a late ferry after Portsmouth service cancelled. What can I say but I fell on my feet. A small family run restaurant with a great home cooked menu. Good service and felt comfortable as a solo traveller. I will definitely be back next time I have to divert into Newhaven !"

It was warm and welcoming, the menu was varied and inviting, and good service, definitely recommend the homemade cheesecake dessert, yum yum. We had a lovely meal that set us up for our journey.
