"Before I tried this place I despaired at the lack of decent pizza places in Stoke on Trent. Basically a really satisfying American-style takeaway pizza. Very indulgent but not particularly greasy so you don't feel so awful and bloated afterwards. I preferred the thin crust to deep pan."

"Used to love this place. Since returning to it I have been disappointed every order with items missing, wrong items sent, and some things not as stated on the menu! Call the restaurant only to have them argue over the discrepancies! Customer service is atrocious after an hour's waiting time!!!"

"We had a pizza, garlic mushrooms, cheesy fries and mozzarella sticks l, plenty of food for a family of 4! The pizza was really good, loads of toppings and the dough was good. The cheesy fries had LOADS of mozzarella on, mozzarella sticks were pretty standard nothing special, and the garlic mushrooms were again pretty good. My advice would be to order direct from the website instead of just eat though as the delivery fee is cheaper and there is no “bag fee” (whatever that means) and there wasn’t a service fee"

"We had high hopes of Allo Pizza based on previous reviews but were bitterly disappointed as new customers. The pizza base was not authentic Italian and not good. The anchovies as part of our topping were harsh and too salty in flavour and ruined the pizza. Anchovies on pizzas should only be a subtle flavour. I've had much better supermarket pizzas, namely the Garlic Prawn from Tesco for £4.50 which has an authentic wood-fired oven base. Sadly we won't be ordering again from Allo. On the plus side the staff and the customer service are good."
