"Been waiting to try primo for a long time and finally got the chance (even though I’m local). The great reviews that this place has are fully justified, the staff are very attentive and accommodating, the atmosphere and character of the place are really good and the menu is just right. As for the food, we had 6 people at the table who all had a different meal, all plates were emptied. The service time was really good and the food was amazing. Really delicious food, the ‘special scotch egg’ starter is a MUST!!! And my pappardelle bolognaise was delicious! Will definitely be trying to make Primo a more regular occurrence!"

"Wow! We booked last minute tonight and they were very accommodating and had a table ready for us even though they were clearly busy! Even with being busy the service and food was not compromised at all! The food was incredible! One of the best italians we have been to! The ladies serving were friendly and attentive and although the dining area is small we didn't feel overcrowded at all. Will definitely be back!!"

"Brilliant atmosphere, looved the interior! Right in the town centre with free parking. Lovely service all the staff were very helpful. The starters are amazing but the main lacked flavour in the pasta sauce (veg tagiatele). Would highly recommend the mushroom starters though! Overall a good experience would try again."
