Absolutely amazing artist drew the tattoo free hand and then got to work. The atmosphere is relaxing all staff friendly and welcoming. Tattoo looks amazing 100% recommend going here"

"Had an appointment for two lobe piercings and one helix piercing. I was shown all of the options for helix rings and fully informed of the prices up front. I felt very comfortable when having the piercings done and there was a lot of room for my own opinions and choices which I really appreciated. The piercings were done quickly and cleanly and overall it was an excellent experience and I will go back for more!"

"I am writing this review on behalf of my partner. My girlfriend paid £1200 upfront for a piercing course advertised with one months coursework and three days practical, leading to a guaranteed pass. Steep price but sounded promising, how wrong we were. Having studied the course paperwork, we both established that vital information was missing (questionnaire-received a week before due date, a copy of a consent form and material regarding correct needle/clamp/jewellery for specific piercings) forcing my girlfriend to resort to researching and seek help from staff at her local piercing studio (Pierce of Art Chesterfield town centre). Does this mean students are expected to already know? Now we come to the practical side of the course. - Whilst with clients my girlfriend was subject to belittlement, foul language, contradictory, borderline aggression, impatience, overwhelming pressure and urged to 'hurry up and get on with it'. Twice threatened to be kicked off the course for making mistakes as a trainee. All this resulted in tears, accompanied by a minor breakdown later that night and hesitation to return the following day. Approximately 10 clients and close to 30 piercings later, a demonstration on how to perform a piercing was shown on the final client. Any questions were deemed stupid and either ignored or met with snappy replies, despite having no experience prior to the course. Traits that would not be expected from a 'professional' tutor. To finish things off, none of the coursework was looked at. No marking or feedback was received, essentially leaving the coursework without review. The practical lasted 1 and a half days, not the 3 advertised. Needless to say, she failed the course. Turns out it was instant fail on certain sections of the test (vital information afore mentioned as missing), which is not mentioned until you're at that point. An additional cost to re-sit at the tune of £300 per section. In my eyes, this is misleading and false advertising. Summary - overpriced, unprofessional, rude, incompetent, ill-prepared. Overall feeling of having been scammed and set up to fail. Neither of us will be returning to that branch."

"I've lost count the number of tattoos I've had the pleasure and honour from Pierce Of Art. All friendly and safety comes first's Not the most recent but this is dedicated to my soul baby Leelah - She had a very rough start to life and I didnt have much time with the soul baby but the memories and the bond was and will be like no other. I still feel the loss. We used to go on night time walks, I asked the tattooists to draw there own design with certain specifics and they hit the mark 10/10 Would recommend To anyone getting a tattoo - Numbing cream is okay we are not robots, Eat and drink before Music or something to watch If you get along with the tattooist/ your comfortable the tattoo process will be a dream"

"Don’t be so quick to head onto bad reviews… I’m not saying some people don’t have genuine negative experiences however piercings are only as good as the aftercare given to them.. Had two beautiful helix piercings done by Sarah & she also sorted me out with another nose piercing. Couldn’t be more accommodating & friendly! You definitely get what you pay for, and I’d rather pay that bit more and be assured! Thank you :) xx"
