"A handheld bouquet with exotic flowers were ordered - local florist so £55 in total was charged. What arrived eventually was a sad bunch of flowers with gladiola and other cheap flowers - 1 orchid. Some of the flowers were dead. I was told that they had tried to deliver on Sunday but no-one was home so they tried next door but were refused. They didn't - we live on odd numbers side and the even number they quoted is about 200 yards away which is not next door. I called twice and left messages, today I tried to call and was left waiting. I thought they would want to rectify this so allowed 5 days but no joy. I work for a West End company and constantly order high end flowers and have never had any problems with delivery or disappointment with the quality of flowers. In fact I have always had huge appreciation and delight when flowers have been delivered in the past from other florists. They didn't deliver on Sunday as ordered, promised to deliver on Monday, didn't and then said they didn't want to deliver the flowers on the Monday as they wanted to send fresh flowers on the Tuesday, and as a goodwill gesture would send a much larger bouquet. What came was garage quality but worse. The flowers smelt as the stems had not even been cleared of the leaves so the leaves attached and the leaves in the water caused the smell. The flowers were wilted and some dead, I will upload the pictures shortly. Very bad experience."
