"My first visit to Basecamp Princetown was like a small child in a sweet shop. Unknown to me...Jim was outrageously experienced with the equipment and clothing for sale in the store. I asked for technical footwear and gave him my reasons for such. To discuss the advantages or disadvantages of each item on sale would take some time so Jim bounced a boot that ticked every box on my list. The next item was a water source filter...no problem...as Basecamp don’t stock rubbish gear and my shopping list was complete. With boots aboard I was looking down from a Tor within 30 minutes. So impressed with no nonsense replacement boots the next day when another less technical pair of boots were purchased. A manufacturing error that Jim and Sam sorted within minutes. This is where Basecamp went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied and confident with the whole experience. Customer service you pray for...and they deliver."
