"Paid £17 for entry, heard good things so was quite excited. Then we walked in. Floor was so sticky I thought I was walking in honey. Music was so bad I wanted to cut my ears off and feed them to a dog. Supposedly sold out but was half empty with max 30 people in there. Definitely would not recommend and the place should probably be shut down permanently."

"Anyone who's been here will think of just one word when they think of Berties: Carnage. It's a lawless atmosphere and everyone on there is really alert and ready for an enormous night out. I saw one guy down an entire tray of shots. Truly a night you'll never forget. Absolute debauchery. Makes Wolf of Wall street look tame."

"Cannot thank J enough for literally saving us this weekend. A hen party of 38 from Cardiff, everything we had booked cancelled on us and we were ringing around trying to find somewhere that would take such a large group and really struggling. J gave us his number so we could speak to him directly and he saved the day! We had the basement bar to ourselves with an amazing Dj and also entry to Bertie’s. Safe to say all 38 of us had the best night! Considering this was all planned 2 days before we left, it was a massive success! Cannot thank J enough and would recommend basement bar and Bertie’s to everyone, both amazing venues!"
