"If I could give no stars at all I would. The staff working in this establishmemt completely ruined my birthday by treating my hair with the wrong colour and unnecessary bleaching. I had very light blonde hair when entering the salon and after requesting a candy apple red colour, left with deep plum coloured hair and still had blonde patches where the dye had not taken, despite being left with the dye on for an hour. I initially worried when I could smell the bleach and was told that this was to bring out the red better. I only noticed that the wrong colour had been put on when one of the staff began drying it, thinking it would turn out lighter when dry. I was wrong. I instantly raised my suspicions with the owner only to be met with "Well we can fix it, but you need to pay more". So she acknowledged the problem but was not empathetic enough to fix it without any incentive. After leaving the shop in tears with damaged hair, I called my sister who came up to come with me and ask if they would fix it due to my complaint. We were met with ignorance, foul language and an invitation to leave, with the owner turning her back on us and continuing to cut someone else's hair. As we realised civilised conversation wasn't getting us anywhere with no refund of what I paid, despite it not being at all what I asked for, and with no mutual resolution to fix it for free, we decided to leave. As we were doing so the owner shouted "Typical f**king English, youse are never happy!" So we carried on and at least we now know why my hair was ruined, which is completely backward for this day and age. I then had to go and buy three boxes of dark brown hair dye to try and salvage my hair. So I didn't get the colour I wanted nor my money back. I will never recommend this salon."
