"10 of us went yesterday for dinner. All of us loved the food. However the waitress went out of her way to be rude at every point, making snide comments. Making a lot of us feel uncomfortable."

"Lovely food, friendly staff, a cosy interior... What more could you want? A few times a year, I meet up with two childhood friends, and we do spend quite a while over our meal. Staff at The Doyen didn't seem to mind this at all! Top marks for their welcoming attitude. We ordered the salted chilli squid starter (loved the Asian slaw!), the chicken skewer starter, the fishcakes starter, and for our mains, the nduja mac 'n' cheese. It was all beautifully cooked and delicious!"

"Nice ambience and very cool bar. Food was good and the service was very friendly. Started with so tasty mushroom soup. Had 28 days steak, which was very lovely and had good portion. The chunky chips was very crispy and tasty. Booking was avaliable, so no queues. Used eat out scheme, which was value for money. Ambient car park and had outside seating for drinks."
